Personally, I think I'll just stay sober, thanks. Not that I'm not going out to celebrate the fatherland in some way, shape or form. The King William (Named after William III, the guy who sluaghtered a bunch of catholics at the Battle of the Boyne and is celebrated by Irish protestants on the 12th of July every year) may or may not be doing something with silly hats. Silly hats? I'm so there.
People over here in England are amazed that I don't drink, one person even says I'm the only Irish person he's met that doesn't. Amazing.

Plenty of Irish DNA running around over here in the 'states that don't drink...some say AA, like Zen, teaches its originating nationality to do something it doesn't naturally do:
Zen is how Japanese people learn how to be spontaneous
AA is how Americans learn how to actually be humble
I'm the drinking type myself, but believe that boredom with intemperance is worse than not knowing the fun of intemperance at all.
